The celebrity mixologist made his appearance on screen specializing in mixing and crafting drinks.

According to NY Daily News, Darryl Robinson, 50, was found lifeless in his Bed-Stuy apartment around midnight after a worried friend informed police, said law officials.

Mixology is the skillful way of preparing drinks and Robinson made a celebrity name for himself by doing that art very well. He hosted the show “Drink Up” on The Cooking Channel in 2010.

Love has outpoured from loved ones sharing their connection with Robinson as they grieve in the aftermath of his death.

“Hi I'm Darryl's assistant Monique. I'm sad to inform you that D passed away yesterday. He was full of light and charisma, we will all miss him he was like a big brother to me,” posted on Robinson’s website.

"He was a tremendous promoter of the craft, and brought his passion to the screen and the national consciousness. We will miss his infectiously positive attitude and giant personality,” said Jason Littrell mixologist, according to NY Daily News.

Robinson appeared in shows like The Today Show and Dr Oz as well as featured in publications like Essence and Business Week during his career.
