Rocker Neil Young is dedicated to getting his words where people can see. The 68 year old musician has been working on his second memoir.
The book will have stories about his life in music. The memoir will be published by Blue Rider, an imprint of Penguin Random House, according to the Associated Press. It will include artwork by Young and musings on politics.
Neil Young is a Canadian singer-songwriter. He co-founded the band Buffalo Springfield and joined Crosby Stills and Nash in 1969. Recent albums include Le Noise in 2010 and Americana and Psychedelic Pill in 2012. He won two Juno Awards in 2011 for Artist of the Year and Adult Alternative Album of the Year. His popular songs include "Heart of Gold," "Like a Hurricane," and "Southern Man." He is known for his peacekeeping efforts and activism.
Young’s best seller “Waging Heavy Peace” was also published on Blue Rider and made it to bookshelves in 2012. His album, A Letter Home debuted in 2014. The veteran rocker is also set to pay a solo concert at the Dolby Theatre on March 29 & 30, according to the LA Times.
