Former Pussycat Doll member Nicole Scherzinger may be leaving the popular U.K. competition show The X Factor.

According to The GuardianScherzinger would be leaving to focus on her music career. She has been a judge on the show since 2012.

United Press International reported that Scherzinger wouldn’t be the only judge exiting the show. Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh have declared that they’re leaving as well, although Walsh is supposedly reconsidering.

This announcement comes after TheCelebrityCafe.com reported last week that Simon Cowell will be returning to the UK program. Cowell’s departure led Fox to cancel the U.S. version of The X Factor, which had struggled in ratings since its launch.

Cowell originally left the U.K. program to launch the U.S. version. In Cowell’s absence, U.K.’s The X Factor’s ratings dropped, bested by the BBC program Strictly Come Dancing. The showrunners of the competition show hope that Cowell will restore the ratings.

Scherzinger’s decision isn’t set in stone. Digital Spy learned from Scherzinger’s agent that “Nicole is still in discussions with X Factor bosses about the show.”

Scherzinger’s new material is set for a summer release.
