At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Nokia debuted their newest smartphones. The Nokia X made a splash, keeping the user interface simple.

Industry analyst Ben Wood of CCS Insight told Reuters, "All the phones now look the same. The ability of top brands like Samsung, Apple and Nokia to differentiate themselves is getting harder."

The Nokia X is a phone created for users in the emerging markets. Affordable and easy to use, the new Nokia has a home screen that resembles Nokia’s Lumia phones. The difference is that the Nokia X uses Android. The Nokia X has a Fastlane feature, making it simpler to get to the screen you want with a click of a button. Nokia doesn’t utilize Fastlane on its Windows phone.

Other features on the Nokia X include a megapixel camera. The phone is not outrageously priced, making it a convenient purchase for the average user. The Nokia X is priced at 89 euros ($122), according to the Associated Press.

This phone is one of the newest models unveiled this year. With so many choices, it’s good to know what the features are. Nokia, is, of course, always in competition with cell phone giants using Android, including Samsung.
