Three Oregon teens have been charged as adults after kidnapping and permanently scarring a classmate.

According to The New York Daily News, Jess Taylor, 17, Jenna Montgomery, 15, and Blue Kalmbach, 15, pleaded not guilty on February 19. Their charges include kidnapping, robbery, assault, and menacing, amongst other unspecified things.

The horrific events reportedly took place February 10. The teens are accused of luring 16-year-old Dustyn Murrain to a shed and torturing him for hours.

Murrain was reportedly hit over the head with a crowbar, shot in the groin and chest with a BB gun, and had a swastika carved into his forehead.

A fourth teen was involved in Murrain’s assault, however, because the teen is 14-years-old, they will be charged as a juvenile, according to CNN.

“He's been severely traumatized not just physically, but emotionally. It's something he's gonna live with forever, especially if the scar of (a) swastika doesn't go away. Every time he looks in the mirror he's gonna have that memory,” Kelli Murrain, the victim’s mother, told KPTV.

The exact motivation of the attack is currently unknown. It has been speculated that Murrain’s assault was an act of vengeance due to his him bullying others, but it has also been stated that this may have been robbery, the motivation being Murrain’s skateboard and money.

The three are students at David Douglas High School.
