Patrick Wilson is reportedly joining the cast of Marvel's upcoming Ant-Man film.

The news was first reported by Deadline, who makes it sound like Wilson is already on board, while Variety reported only that the actor is currently in talks.

There hasn't been any word of who he would play, but Variety noted that it would be a major role in the film.

If the news is true, The Conjuring actor will join confirmed castmembers Michael Douglas and Paul Rudd.

Evangeline Lilly was also in talks earlier in February, but there hasn't been any further news if she has officially joined the cast yet.

Rudd is set to play the lead character in the film, Scott Lang, while Douglas will play Hank Pym, who initially develops the shrinking technology before Lang steals it away.

Lilly was up for the female lead. Michael Pena was also offered an unknown role in the film.

Ant-Man is scheduled to hit theaters July 17, 2015 and is directed by Shaun of the Dead director Edgar Wright.
