Pharrell opened up the 2014 NBA All-Star Game Sunday night with co-performers such as: Nelly, Diddy, Snoop Dogg, and Busta Rhymes.
The set was packed with some of the singer-producer's best songs and even included the timeless Nelly hit, "Hot in Herre." The guys had a great time on stage while the East and West NBA players were announced and entered the New Orleans Arena, especially Busta Rhymes and Diddy. SB Nation has a perfect clip to show just how happy the duo was to perform together with their premeditated dance moves. Snoop Dogg joined the stage to perform "Beautiful" and it was only fitting for them to play a Snoop classic in the background as the All-Stars from the West took the court.
All-Star Lebron James introduced Pharrell to the stage by calling him "Skateboard P," Billboard says. It took about an hour for the performance and introductions of the All-Stars to be made, but the entertainment was worth it. Of course, it could not be complete without including the record of the year, "Get Lucky" by Daft Punk, and the chart-topper "Happy," which he concluded his performance with. Many of these songs will be expected in his setlist at this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
With that, the game is underway between the East and the West, including both rookies and veterans. Lebron James and Blake Griffin are just two of the NBA players starring in this year's game, who are most entertaining to watch.
