Radiohead released a new, free app for iOS and Android devices on Tuesday called PolyFauna.

According to Billboard, the app is animated and was inspired by their 2011 album The King of Limbs and the single "Bloom."

The app isn't so much a game, but rather a creation of landscapes and features creepy music in the background. The app allows users to draw on top of the weird landscapes and moving the device while in the app will create a different view.

On Radiohead's website, singer Thom Yorke wrote that "your screen is the window into an evolving world. Move around to look around. You can follow the red dot. You can wear headphones."

According to the Los Angeles Times, the app is best used while moving around the device, which can help navigate you through PolyFauna to find the aforementioned red dot.

The app was created by the band with the help of digital design company Universal Everything, Stanley Donwood and Nigel Godrich.
