Sky Ferreira forced to pull out of Miley Cyrus' Bangerz tour after injuring herself on stage.
NME reports that on Feb. 21, during the first song of her set, Ferreira fell on stage, but still finished her performance.
Ferreira was sent to the hospital afterwards where she received 60 stitches in her leg.
"I didn't even notice the injury until 10 mins after I played because I had so much fun," Ferriera wrote on her Instagram. "I just figured it was some blood."
As a result of her injury, Ferreira also had to cancel a Rolling Stone Google+ Hangout session.
Rolling Stone reported Cyrus' announcement that Icona Pop and Ferreira for her Bangerz tour.
Ferriera spoke to Rolling Stone about her friendship with Cyrus.
"It was nice to be around someone who wasn't competitive — girls can be so competitive — or worried about how to act," Ferrier said.
The Bangerz tour started Feb. 14 in Vancouver and will finish up on April 24 in Long Island.
Ferreira hopes to return to the tour when she is better.
