There's nothing better than a heart-warming message from your loved ones when you aren't feeling your best.
The snowy message left on top of Rush University Medical Center in Chicago did much more than warm the heart of the mom that this father and son intended it for.
Angela Washek, a nurse from the intensive care unit of the hospital, first noticed a group of men on top of the building early that morning but was not sure what they were doing. It was later that day when she saw her patient's daughter staring out of the window and decided to take a closer look. She then realized that it was a message for one of her patients.
"My patient's daughter wished she could have done something like that for her mother," Washek said.
According to CNN, the photo has been posted to the medical center's Facebook page and has since received more than a thousand likes and 50 comments.
Somewhere in those 50 comments is where the answer behind the message was found. Hannah Hart explained that the snowy message was for her mother, who was a leukemia patient. At first, the message read "Hi Mom!", but Yahoo! News noted that the group later decided to add "GOD BLESS YOU ALL" to make it a blessing to more patients than just the mother.
“It was really heartfelt. It was a lot of effort and it was really cold that night. And those letters are huge. They’re about two car lengths’ long," Washek added.
Although the kind message is now hidden due to the parked cars, the message still remains in the heart of not only the mother, but several other patients and hospital staff.
