Boston pop rockers Stay Seventeen are back with their new single, "Cloud 9."
Last summer the quartet released their debut album, Promises, to rave reviews. They've been busy ever since, sharing the stage with acts such as Hollywood Ending, Phone Calls From Home and Late Nite Reading.
"Cloud 9" was produced by Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount (Cartel, All Time Low, Mayday Parade).
"To us Cloud 9 means a new direction in our sound," said the band on the announcement of their new single. "This was the first song that was written by the entire band together, and is the perfect example of a song influenced by all four of us! There is a lot more of a pop feel to the song, which is something we have all wanted to do for a while. The lyrics themselves are about that feeling you get when experiencing love with someone new for the first time. Everything that your new found partner says and does intrigues you and turns you on in the best way, and everything you experience feels new and exciting. There's no better feeling in the world, and you're essentially 'flying on Cloud 9'."
The release of "Cloud 9" coincides with the announcement of Stay Seventeen's tour with Hollywood Ending:

Mar 4 – Virgin Mobile Mod Club – Toronto, ON
Mar 5 – Sala Rossa – Montreal, QC
