Authorities have recovered the vehicle owned by a missing Virginia police captain and are now searching for and want to speak with two men regarding his disappearance.

According to the Huffington Post, Police Capt. Kevin Quick's SUV was spotted by Louisa County Sheriff deputies in a residential area on Monday.

While his vehicle is still being examined by state police, CNN is reporting that law enforcement is looking for two men who may be connected to the 45-year-old’s disappearance.

"There were other pieces of evidence and information we had that made us concerned about his safety right off the bat," said spokeswoman Corrine Gellar.

Quick was last seen leaving his mother’s house on Friday evening and was headed to see a friend, but he never showed up. His family reported him missing on Saturday.

Police have received several tips and conducted searches, but nothing has turned up. They are asking anyone with information on the officer’s whereabouts to contact authorities.
