Country superstar Taylor Swift has chopped off her long locks!
Swift posted a video to her personal Instagram last night, showing a room full of people cheering her on as she gets her hair cut. Swift takes a tongue-in-cheek stance on the audience, saying "This is how many people are watching me get a haircut right now," as she pans the camera around the room.
Luckily for fans, Swift then posted a selfie taken with British singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding that shows off her new cut. It looks like Taylor opted for a shoulder-length bob with lots of face-framing layers and a side bang.
In the past, Taylor has rocked many different hairstyles and lengths. When she first debuted, she owned the long and wild curls that a country girl should have. She gradually moved to more styled curls, and then to shorter, straight hair.
Swift shows no sign of returning to her long curly locks in this tweet:

Only time will tell how this will impact Taylor's infamous hair-flipping dance moves, like the ones seen at the 2014 Grammy Awards .
