Comedian Tim Wilson, who mixed country music and NASCAR into his acts, died on Feb.26.
Wilson was well-known for his comedic songs. The most famous one was “The NASCAR Song.” The song was about a child who was born in the Talladega raceway and was named “Dale Darrell Waltrip Richard Petty Rusty Awesome Bill Irvan Gordon Earnhardt Smith ... Johnson, Jr.”
As earlier reported by The Bob and Tom Show, Wilson died of a heart attack at the age of 52.Wilson was scheduled to headline at a show in Birmingham, Alabama this weekend.
"It is a very difficult day, and we couldn't be more saddened by the passing of a comedy legend," the posting said in part. "Our thoughts and prayers are with Tim's loved ones." Said “The Bob and Tom Show”
As earlier reported by CNN, Wilson survived by his wife, and two children, a son and a daughter.
