Comedy cartoons, such as Bob's Burgers, have become a big trend for American television. The Simpsons and Family Guy are just two critically acclaimed, animated sitcoms with multiple seasons that still continue to this day.
Bob's Burgers, produced and developed by Loren Bouchard and Jim Dauterive, continues in their comical paths, as an entertaining cartoon that started on January 9, 2011. Currently in its fourth season, it already has a large group of dedicated viewers. The show is centered around easily aggravated and super average Bob Belcher and his family-owned burger restaurant. His wife, Linda, is a stereotypical mother, who enjoys a glass of wine after dinner, theater and novels. But remember, "Mommy doesn't get drunk, she has fun."
Their three children, Tina, Gene and Louise, are a handful, yet help out at the restaurant. Tina, the oldest child, is boy crazy, loves writing fan fiction and is socially awkward with every word she speaks. Gene is the middle child with over-enthusiastic behavior and a love for playing his keyboard. Last but not least, Louise is the youngest sibling with manipulative and outgoing behavior, a sharp tongue and a dark sense of humor.
Together, the Belchers unite as one of the most unconventional families, yet we can find a piece of ourselves, or someone we know in all of them.
