This weeks Teen Wolf episode ‘Letharia Vulpina’ was a big chaotic episode that kind of connected some of the dots from this season’s previous episodes with the use of some handy dandy flashbacks. We got to see a bit more of the evil, darker Stiles who thrives on the chaos and pain of others to make that dark spirit in him stronger. Which made us think oh-no the goofy Stiles we know and love is venturing into the deep end there – please someone throw him a life jacket! The episode began with a whole lot of Japanese being spoken but past all of that we got to the good stuff -- the bombs and the chaos. We learn more not only about Kira’s family but also about Peter’s past. This week creator Jeff Davis took us for a loop.
And as usual we have rounded up for you our top 10 moments and questions from this weeks
Teen Wolf .

10. Deaton and his plan to get the fox out of Stiles

In the beginning of the episode we catch up with Deaton, who is in Japan, meeting with Katashi (Silverfinger) where Deaton seems to either find the cure or the poison that will help get the evil spirit out of Stiles – or at least weaken it enough for them to fight it. This sedative came from moss that was born from the blood of the dark kitsune (remember from the previous episode where we are first introduced to Silverfinger)

At the end Deaton uses this moss to paralyze Stiles like he did to Kitashi. The real question is now that the spirit is weakened how do they get it out of Stiles? It seemed as though Deaton may have a plan…

9. All the chaos that ensued

We learnt that the dark kitsune spirit thrives off of pain and chaos so it only makes sense that the evil possessed Stiles was in the eye of the storm when all these incidences were going down in Beacon Hills. This episode we saw a bomb scare on a school bus, an actual bomb going off at the police station, deaths, torture, and of course Coach being shot by an arrow – all set up by Stiles to help feed the spirit inside.
Knowing that Scott has the ability to take away pain from people Stiles uses Scott’s ability to the dark kitsune’s advantage feeding off of the pain that Scott has soaked up in the last few hours as a sort of watering hole for the kitsune to get stronger.

8. Is Isaac okay?! Why isn’t he healing?

We all know that one of the perks of being a werewolf is the ability to heal insanely quick. In tonight’s episode however when Isaac pushed Allison out of the way of the electricity infused water and tried to endure it he has failed to heal. We see Isaac in the hospital with burns on one side of his face and neck.
So since Isaac isn’t healing in a wolf like manner, what does this mean for him?

7. Oh Scott and Allison

Creator Jeff Davis really just loves to mess with us. Tonight we got a little peak on the emotional love and connection that Scott and Allison share. When things get rough they seem to have this look between them where they don’t have to say anything but they just reassure each other everything is going to be all right. This gives us all a little hope that the Scott and Allison relationship isn’t completely over with.

6. Is there more to Lydia’s banshee powers?

This week we saw a few cool new tricks from Lydia. First off her ability to throw some werewolf nails against the wall in an awesome matrix like manner just with what seemed to be through the sheer power of her voice. The second cool new ability Lydia has is now she is so in-tune with her hearing she can communicate to dead people/spirits.

5. Derek and Chris Argent – cool new duo?

It was weird/nice to see Derek playing nice with Chris and vice versa. Before the two of them could barely stand each other but tonight Derek practically saves Chris’s life when the bomb goes off in the police station. The two of them, with their vast pools of knowledge of the supernatural, do make one kick-butt team to fight whatever is coming for Beacon Hills.

4. The truth about Kira’s parents.

We still haven’t gotten a complete back story to Kira and her families history with the Umi. We know her mom is the lady in charge trying to fight the thing that’s possessing Stiles. What we don’t know however is how far back their powers go and what the full powers of the Kitsune actually are. In last week’s episode we saw that Kira’s mom was like Kira when her hand fizzled with electricity when she too touched the light bulb.
Tonight we saw that Kira’s mom though has the power to summon the Umi through breaking what looks like black sticks with blue electricity/power in them.
So does the future mean that Kira will become the keeper of the Umi and all that power? We don’t realy know much about the Yukimura household; hopefully we get a little more insight next episode!

3. Kira and her fighting power

We were all a little impressed when Kira whipped out her own fighting moves when the Umi came to attack. She all of a sudden knew how to fight as fast, as powerful, and as quickly as Scott in wolf mode. The question is though how powerful is she really? Because we saw her absorb all that electricity from the power cord gone astray but we didn’t get a chance to see what happens after she absorbs it all?

2. Stiles going insanely evil!

It’s great to see this evil, mastermind, darker kind of Stiles this season. In this episode all Stiles wanted was to create chaos and mayhem in Beacon Hills and not only did he succeed he had put together one great plan to get the whole town into a panic with a bomb. Stiles is so possessed by the spirit that he even has resorted to torturing Scott as he twists the knife that is lodged in Scott’s stomach, thank goodness for Deaton coming to the rescue and knocks Stiles out.

So how are they going to get that darkness out of Stiles because we want our goofy loving Stiles back!

1. “You’re more than just an uncle…”

Peter revealed in this episode that his late sister Talia (Derek’s mother) took a memory from him and he wants it back. This ability can only be don’t by a very powerful alpha and he has enlisted Lydia’s banshee powers to contact Talia and find out what the memory is. Lydia now tapping into her new hearing powers she finds out that Peter is more than just an uncle! Peter doesn’t know who or how and is as confused as we were when we first heard about his possible offspring.

And if Lydia and Allison figured it out correctly Peter can possibly be the father to Malia. The coyote-girl that Scott and Stiles help find in the episode ‘More Bad Than Good’.

But we knew Peter was brought back for some reason. It’s going to be interesting to see how this new information is going to impact Peter and whatever his plans are.
