The holidays are a time of joy and appreciating all you have in your life. At least that is what your supposed to feel. This is not the case for the characters in the new movie A Long Way Down.
This movie tells the story of four strangers who decide to jump off a building on New Year’s Eve. The only thing that stops them from doing so is the fact that they all pick the same building and convince each other not to jump off, or at least wait until Valentine’s Day.
The group then becomes a sort of family and tries to support each other through their difficult lives. However, their story gets heard and they unwillingly become famous celebrities.
They must try to manage their new fame while managing their demons as well. The film seems to combine the dark themes with much light hearted comedy.
The movie stars Aaron Paul, Imogene Poots, Toni Collette and Pierce Brosnan as the four group members. It is directed by Pascal Chaumeil and is slated for release March 21st.
