Three adults from Wheelersburg, Ohio are being charged with child endangerment of three young children after one had e-mailed a teacher from Ohio Virtual Academy asking her to call the police on January 30.
Boyfriend Juan Carlos Sanchez, mother Bobbi Sue Pack, and Grandmother Edwina Louis kept three children chained to their beds, beat them with belts, and Sanchez reportedly raped the two girls, who are 11 and 9 and the brother is 8 years old. Pack and Louis is being charged with three counts of child endangerment each and Sanchez is being charged with two counts of rape. A two year old girl, believed to be Sanchez’s daughter, was not harmed.
Capt. David Hall told the Dispatch that, “This is a once-in-a-lifetime, a once-in-a-career case,” he said. “It’s horrific, emotional and awful for everyone involved. But those kids? They are so brave, and they would just warm your heart if you could see them. Thank God for their good little spirits.”
According to the News, authorities are also looking for another woman, who fled the scene, named Leah Dillion, 24.
Sanchez, Pack, and Louis will appear in the Portsmouth Municipal Court on Wednesday.
