U2 is on a musical mission to spread rock ‘n’ roll and save the world. So far their mission has been accomplished but the band is ready to push their music and advocacy to the next level. The band recently released their first single off of their upcoming album, “Invisible” for free during the Super Bowl. For fans that downloaded the album for free a donation was made to the Red foundation.
Following the success of that charity campaign and the positive reviews of “Invisible” the band has released the full-length music video for their single. It is very much like a classic U2 video; it has the visual feel that fans are used to and showcases the bands musical talents.
The music video focuses on the performance from Bono and was released in black and white which puts the focus on the performance and the energy of the fans in the crowd that are feeling every chord and every note.
If music fans are not sold on U2 this music video and single will not change their mind but for longtime fans of the band, this is the perfect video and is refreshing to know that the band is not going to just sit back and play old material, they are constantly moving forward and trying to be the best musicians that they can be.
U2 might be the band that can not only save the world but can save classic rock ‘n’ roll, as well.
