Several people were left injured after a United Airlines flight experience what is being considered “severe” turbulence.

According to Fox News, the Denver to Montana flight saw the unsteady weather change just before landing. Three crew members and two passengers were sent to the hospital after getting to the ground. The flight landed without incident otherwise.

Many of those injured hit their heads on the roof of the place when it fell slightly. One flight attendant was even left unconscious and bleeding after impact.

Yahoo reports that one woman’s baby flew out of her arms when the turbulence hit, but the baby fortunately landed on another seat and was unharmed.

About 32 people are injured annually due to flight turbulence. The victims are usually crew members because they are typically standing and not wearing seat belts at the time of impact.

United Airlines is reportedly reviewing the incident and has stated that the crew and passengers are their number on concern.
