If you plan on going to Walt Disney World for Spring Break or this summer, it will be a good idea to save up even more money than usual. The theme park announced new one-day ticket prices and they are only going up.

A single-day adult ticket to the most popular park, the Magic Kingdom, now costs $99, plus tax, notes the Tampa Bay Times. Tickets for children in the 3 to 9 age group are $93.

Going to EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom will save you a few bucks, but not much. One-day tickets for the other three parks are now at $94 and it’s $88 for children.

Ticket prices for all four parks went up $4 from the previous prices.

“Our pricing reflects the high quality and breadth of experiences we offer and our ongoing commitment to investing in our parks," Kim Prunty, Walt Disney World spokeswoman, said in a statement to CNN. “We offer a variety of ticket options that provide a great value, and find that most guests select multi-day tickets that offer additional savings.”

The prices may be a bit hard to swallow, since Disney posted record profits during its previous fiscal quarter. It’s also hard for families, since they also have to pay for high-priced food and expensive souvenirs.

In other words, it might be the happiest place on earth, but definitely not the cheapest.
