Aaron Paul tried to marry his wife, Lauren Parsekian, on their first date

There was never any trouble in paradise for Aaron Paul and his now wife, Lauren Parsekian. In fact the couple almost got married on their first date.

Paul and Parsekian met at the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California. Shortly after the event, the two had their first date in Las Vegas and attempted to go to the nearest chapel and be wed.

“We also jumped into a cab and said, 'Take us to the nearest chapel. We're getting married,” said Paul according to http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/aaron-paul-reveals-married-wife-date/story?id=22918356>ABC .

However as luck would have the Little White Chapel was closed dashing their wedding plans.

"We probably would have gone through with it. It would have been a pretty funny story. But I'm happy we got married when we did,” said Paul.

Paul and Parsekian got engaged in Paris on New Years Day in 2012. 16-months later the couple was wed in Malibu in a Parisian carnival themed wedding.

Paul stars in the new movie, Need for Speed which opened March 14 as previously reported.
