Afrojack will be releasing his debut album on May 19th, Forget the World and the word is ready to start listening.

For the past few years Afrojack has been releasing a series of singles for fans to enjoy but up until now has not released a full album.

The first single off of Forget The World was "As Your Friend," which featured Chris Brown. Following that single Afrojack released another single featuring Spree Wilson "The Spark" and "Ten Feet Tall" which featured Wrabel.

This will be the producer's first LP and will feature collaborations with Wiz Khalifa and Sting, Billboard reported.

Back in March last year, the DJ signed a deal with Island Records and Universal Music Group that would be a worldwide deal.

Rolling Stone recently interviewed the 26-year-old DJ, who explained what the process was like working on this album and how it was different than working with major artists like Pitbull and Beyonce.

"With this album, I wanted it to be real and completely honest and musical. I didn't want to make it a festival banger. I made club tracks, dance hits, and dance floor smashers and stuff like that — it's like doing the same tricks a couple of times over again, in different ways, but its still always a dance floor trick. Basically on this album I wanted to do me," said Afrojack.
