Indie rock 'n' roll band, Arcade Fire, have been making headlines for taking on unique cover songs on their most recent tour and at their stop in Philadelphia. The band played Boys II Men's "Motownphilly." "Motownphilly" is a fan favorite in Philadelphia.
Arcade Fire played Wells Fargo Center on Monday night and ended their show by covering the Boys II Men song. This is not the first time that the band has taken on a song representing the town their tour was in, Philly.com reported.
Fire recently covered Stevie Wonder "Uptight (Everything's Alright)" in Michigan and Prince's "Controversy" in Minneapolis, Rolling Stone detailed.
The band is currently on their Reflektor tour and are playing sold out venues for thousand of fans. The band played a 17-song set and continued their request that concert goers wear formal attire or a costume to the musical event. The tour will continue tonight at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Conn.
