Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is already filming in Italy and high quality photos have just surfaced. They show a fight scene with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen and Jeremy Renner being filmed. There’s also a shot of what Ultron looks like without the CGI.
Earlier Monday, Collider reported that some blurry images showed up on YouTube and Instagram. One shows a windy scene with a tipped over bus, while another shows a small car exploding.
Shortly thereafter, high quality images surfaced, showing that three of the film’s stars were on the set that day. Writer/director Joss Whedon is also shown talking with Taylor-Johnson, who plays Quicksilver. Olsen plays Scarlet Witch and will also be making her Marvel debut with this film. Renner’s Hawkeye character debuted in the first Avengers film.
Age of Ultron will not be opening until May 1, 2015, so Whedon and his crew has a long time to make these scenes look much better. All they really reveal is that there’s a fight with Ultron and explosions, but we already expected that.
