Avicii took over the mainstream music industry when he released "Wake Me Up" with help from Aloe Blacc, but it is his follow-up single that is shocking the industry even more. "Hey Brother," which features Union Station's Dan Tyminski vocals, has arrived on the country music charts.
Tyminski is known in the country music industry. He rose to fame when he joined the Union Station, Alison Krauss' band back in 1994.
Avicii, who is known for his electronic DJ and producing skills, seems like an odd fit to ever even reach the country charts, but this single has put him at No. 59 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.
"Hey Brother" has around 97 plays on the airplay charts which results in an audience of 607,000 individuals.
The song is catching on in the country music industry. At a recent tour stop in London, chart-topping male country artist Dierks Bentley covered the single, reports Radio.com.
