Pop punk princess, Avril Lavigne has announced that she will be going on her first North America tour in seven years. The tour will include 30 dates as well as teaming up with the Backstreet Boys for a combine tour.
Lavigne made the tour announcement on her website. Fans took to social media to react about the news and the combined Backstreet Boy and Lavigne tour started to trend on Facebook and Twitter.
The "Complicated" singer is just wrapping up her 7-week arena tour that was sold out over in Asia.
The tour will kick off In South America and will start in late April. Following the conclusion of that portion of the tour, Lavigne will kick off the United States portion of her tour in Seattle on May 22nd, The Huffington Post reported.
Lavigne expressed her excitement about heading back on the road and teaming up with the Backstreet Boys. "I'm excited to stay on the road and cannot wait to see all my fans across the Americas!
I had such a great time with the Backstreet Boys during last fall’s radio shows, it seemed like a natural fit for me to join them on the road in the US," said the "Let Me Go" singer.
Lavigne first came onto the scene back in the early 200s when she released her first album with the singles, "Complicated" and "S8ker Boi."
