Singer Brandon Howard is continuing to distance himself from a DNA test that may show that he is really the son of the late Michael Jackson.

As reported earlier today, a TMZ report claimed that Howard, 31, was the one claiming that he is the “Billie Jean” singer’s son. His mother is gospel singer Miki Howard, who met Jackson in 1982, months before Howard was born. DNA obtained from an orthodontic device Jackson used years ago was tested and the results were announced on FilmOn.com this afternoon.

Now, TMZ is reporting that the alleged DNA test showed a 99.9 percent match. Apparently, these so-called dental impressions of Jackson included lots of DNA to test, even though it was used three decades ago. The test was obtained by Alki David, an entrepreneur who owns FilmOn.com.

However, Howard told the 13,000 Facebook users who have liked his page that he wants nothing to do with what David is doing. He claims he never contacted TMZ and, despite what that original TMZ report says, he never contacted the Jackson estate about money. Howard claims that his finances are fine.
