A California man has turned himself in to authorities after Googling his name and finding himself on the state’s Most Wanted list of fugitives.

Christopher Viatafa, 27, may have been having an ordinary day when he decided to search his name on Google, but he was morelikely than surprised to see his own face and name on Most Wanted poster.

According to NBC New York, Viatafa attended a party at a retirement home on August 8, 2013. While at the party, he became involved in an argument with others, pulled out a gun, and fired several shots into the ground. Viatafa was forced out of the party and police have been searching for him ever since.

According to SFGate Viatafa turned himself in after seeing his face on the Northern California Most Wanted website, which is run by Northern California Regional Intelligence Center, a group comprised of local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.

Viatafa has been charged with discharging a firearm toward an inhabited dwelling, and has had his listing on the website changed to “captured”.
