Christopher Walken dances his way across the Internet in this viral mash-up video.
Huffington Post video editor Ben Craw to scenes from 57 films starring Christopher Walken, dancing in one-way or another. The video is set to C&C’s Music Factory’s single, “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now).” The complete list of films used can be seen on Huffington Post. The only thing that could make this video any better would be if Walken had demanded “more cowbell” at the end.
From a few silly steps to a long and graceful dance sequence, the video highlights just how often Walken has danced on screen. It’s not surprising, as Today reports on Walken and his original studies at the Washington Dance theatre where he trained as a musical theater dancer. Walken has always had a great ability to incorporate dance into his characters, regardless of situation. In 1990’s King of New York, Walken improvised a dance that despite his serious role, only added to his character and became one of the most memorable moments in the film.
This is the second music video in which people have enjoyed the odd glory that is Christopher Walken. He also appeared to bust some sweet moves in Fatboy Slim’s 2003 “Weapon of Choice”.
