Country singer David Nail prepares to astound fans with his new album, I’m A Fire.

According to the Associated Press, Nail said, "Sometimes I think all too often people can reference good singing by showing how technically great you are on every song…So it was tough kind of challenging myself to really get lost in the words and sing it from a part of my voice that I wasn't used to."

Darius Rucker invited Nail to open for him this year on the True Believers Tour. He called Nail one of the best singers in country music.

Nail is recording artist who has impressed fans since 2002. His single, “Memphis,” first got him noticed in the field of country music. His leading singles include “Red Light,” “Turning Home,” and “Let It Rain.” His last studio album was released in November 2011.

The new album features 10 of Nail’s original songs, according to A Taste of Country. With the new album,I’m a Fire, Nail wanted songs that would help even out the energy in his live show. Nail said he wanted to “give fans a balance between the melancholy songs and the fun songs.”
