Disney took its turn at CinemaCon in Las Vegas today, previewing the live-action Cinderella adaptation and Pixar’s Inside Out. The studio also discussed Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy from Marvel.

Disney chairman Alan Horn and worldwide distribution executive VP Dave Hollis showed off some footage from Cinderella, another redo of a classic animated film from the studio. TheWrap notes that the big selling point will not be effects like those seen in Maleficent with Angelina Jolie. Instead, Cinderella will be a costume designer’s dream, with ballgowns galore.

The footage showed Cinderella (Downton Abbey’s Lily James) receiving the news of her father’s death, meeting her prince and a scene of her ugly stepsisters tearing her gown. Another image showed off the blue ballgown she wears, which will likely be seen in plenty of publicity materials.

Cinderella, which stars Cate Blanchett as the evil stepmother, opens on March 13, 2015.

Variety reports that Inside Out also wowed the audience. That film is expected to be out next summer.

However, Disney only briefly acknowledged the elephant in the room - Star Wars: Episode VII. Horn had no new information to share and only reiterated what Disney CEO Bob Iger said last week.
