What if the music to Aladdin or the Lion King was rooted in the current electronic music scene that is on the rise? That question is about to be answered as Walt Disney Records announced Tuesday that they will be remixing 14 of their most well known songs with some help from the biggest artists in EDM today.

The album will be titled Dconstructed and has a schedule released date of April 22nd.

Songs that will be getting the EDM remix treatment including The Lion King, Aladdin, The Muppets and Sleeping Beauty, Billboard reported.

Disney has lined up some of the best in the business for this album and it will feature the talents of Avicii, Mat Zo, BT, U.N.K.L.E., The Japanese Popstars, Au5, Negin, Shinichi Osawa, ShyKidx and Armin van Buuren.

Van Burren released a statement about how excited he was to be working on this upcoming project. "I feel incredibly honored to have remixed an Oscar-winning song -- though I didn't know that yet when I started," said Van Burren.

Chart topping artist, Avicii, also released a statement about the upcoming Disney project, explaining that he had worked on remixing a Disney so a while back and was excited to revisit that idea, Vibe reported. "My first remix of Daft Punk's 'TRON: Legacy' was so long ago, but it was a significant moment of recognition in my career. It's great to be a part of it again, to refresh the track, and to let everyone hear Negin's voice," said Avicii.
