Disney's newest animated film, 'Frozen', has been named the highest grossing film of all time in box office history.
The highly popular film has raised $398.4 million domestically and $674 million internationally, making a total of $1.072 billion worldwide, according to Reuters.
The film, which is based on the Scandinavian Snow Queen fairytale took the place of 2010's Toy Story , which earned $1.063 billion in sales.
The animated feature was in the top 10 films on domestic box office charts for more than three months, also has now become the 10th-largest grossing film in cinema history.
'Frozen' has not only had success with the box office, but also the music charts as well. Not only did it win Best Animated Film, but it also won Best Original Song, according to Entertainment Weekly/.
The film, which was directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee was released on DVD and Blu-Ray March 18.
