DJ Tiesto was rushed to hospital after injuring himself during San Jose concert.
TMZ reports that Dj Tiesto was rushed to the hospital Friday night after hitting his head on a flat screen television located above his turntable set.
The injury took place at the San Jose SAP center. Tiesto was making his way to the dark stage when he hit his head and started bleeding.
According to The Guardian, despite the bleeding, Tiesto wanted to continue playing, but his management refused to let him go on.
Tiesto was treated at the hospital, receiving stitches and being diagnosed with a concussion. Doctors told him to rest for the next few days.
Tiesto tweeted his fans, letting them know that due to his injuries, Saturday's show in Los Angeles had also been cancelled.
I had an accident and got a concussion at last night's show. Dr's told me to rest so no show tonight. Thanks for your concern and support!

After five years since his last album, Tiesto spoke to the Miami New Times about working on a new project.
"It is all written and the instrumental tracks are finished. I am just being patient, trying to find the people who can sing the vocal parts the way I want," Tiesto said.
