The Eli Young Band has accomplished a first in their career, the group has debuted at No. 1 on the top country album charts with their latest release 10,000 Towns.

The album also helped the group to have their best week in sales to date.
10,000 Towns has sold over 36,000 albums since it was released, Billboard reported.

The band reached No. 3 with their album Life at Best back in September of 2011, that album sold 35,000, Country Weekly added.

Also debuting on the countdown was David Nail with his debut album, I'm a Fire. Nail ended up showing up on the charts in the third position. Nail first came onto the music scene with his single, "Whatever She's Got."

The first single off of 10,000 Towns was "Drunk Last Night," and the single is currently at No. 1 on Country Airplay and is in third place on airplay/sales/streaming combination country songs charts.
