The Eli Young band releases their second major-label album, 10,000 Towns.

According to the Associated Press, the band includes lead singer, Mike Eli, guitarist James Young, bassist Jon Jones, and drummer Chris Thompson.

The four piece band from Denton, Texas covers ground that many fans of country music are accustomed to. There are songs about relationships between men and women, cautionary tales about drinking, and what it feels like through twists and turns in the road. Previous albums include Eli Young Band, Level, Jet Black and Jealous, Life at Best, and 10,000 Towns. Not all of the songs are major label releases.

According to Billboard, the band grew in popularity with "Crazy Girl” in 2011. Eli Young Band continued to show promise on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. In 2013, they were nominated for the Grammys in the Best Country Duo/ Group Performance for “Even if It Breaks Your Heart.” They were also nominated for Vocal Group of the Year in the CMA Awards. “Even if It Breaks Your Heart” was nominated for Best Country Song.

Recent songs from the band include “Just Add Moonlight” and “Drunk Last Night.” On August 16, the band headlined their “Drunk Last Night” Fall/ Winter Tour.
