Elisabeth Moss is revealing her short-lived marriage to Fred Armisen was anything but a fairytale. The Mad Men star detailed their short union in cover story for New York Magazine.

Moss, 31, who was married to the SNL cast member for about a year until 2010, called the marriage “awful” and “horrible” among other negative things.
"Looking back, I feel like I was a really young, and at the time I didn't think that I was that young," she explained to New York Mag. "It was extremely traumatic and awful and horrible."

Moss even said the whole experience was so bad that she’s glad she “got that out of the way” because she likely will never get married again.

"At the same time, it turned out for the best,” she said. “I'm glad that I'm not there. I'm glad that it didn't happen when I was 50. I'm glad I didn't have kids. And I got that out of the way. Hopefully. Like, that's probably not going to happen again."

The actress, who will soon be experiencing the end of an era with the seventh season of Mad Men being its last, also said she went through being the target of tabloid gossip and simply put, “it sucks,” E! Online reports.

"I always knew that the stuff that you read is not true, but when I was in the situation and you really, actually read things that you apparently said or did that are 100 percent made up...It's just the strange, simple thing of, that's your heart they're talking about, and it just...it sucks," she said.
