True Detective season one has come to an end and with so many fans wanting to tune in to the show on HBO GO, the online streaming system crashed. The finale aired on HBO on Sunday evening.

The show premiered back on January 12th with 2.3 million viewers. Since the premiere the show has seen a constant increase in viewership.
The final eposide of True Detective was made available on HBO GO following the premiere but for fans that tried to log on and watch the show, they received a "fatal error" message that explained the show was not able to load, The New York Daily News reported.
True Detective stars Matthew McConaughey, Woody Harrelson, Michelle Monaghan, Michael Potts, and Tory Kittles.
It was announced that True Detective would be getting another season, The Chicago Tribune reported.
Series creator Nic Pizzolatto explained the second season as being about "hard women, bad men and the secret occult history of the United States transportation system."
