Eva Marie Saint is opening up about how she feels on a new special on TCM this Monday.
The actress, who will be 90-years-old later this year, tells all on Eva Marie Saint: Live From the TCM Classic Film Festival, a conversation with TCM host Robert Osborne. The working actress shared some secrets. According to the Associated Press, Saint said, "You know how to stay young? Go with the flow.”
The TCM tribute includes screenings of On the Waterfront, North by Northwest, and Raintree County. On the special, she discusses what it was like to work with Marlon Brando and Exodus director, Otto Premminger. She says that she is attentive to advice from people that she has worked with, including mentor Lillian Gish, who told her to not be too worried about their future. Saint worked with Gish on The Trip to Bountiful on TV and onstage in the early 1950s.
Each year, TCM records conversations with film actors. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Luise Rainer, Peter O’Toole, and Kim Novak have previously been interviewed for the series.
Eva Marie Saint: Live From the TCM Classic Film Festival will air on Monday at 8pm on TCM.
