Ex-porn star Melissa Midwest has been dropped from a class-action lawsuit against the website Match.com.

According to the New York Post, the former porn star, also known as Melissa Harrington, recently demanded that she be removed from the class-action, trademark-infringement suit.

The New York Daily News noted that the suit, which was filed in November, claimed that the dating site posts thousands of phony profiles with unsanctioned photos of attractive people to keep paying members interested.

Attorney in the case Evan Spencer, replaced part-time Florida model Yuliana Avalos with Harrington.

In a court document filed Thursday, Spencer said that he removed Avalos from the lawsuit because she “requested that she be withdrawn.”

Harrington has also requested that she be removed as the plaintiff in the case.

The 31-year-old porn actress is from Nebraska and also goes by the name Melissa Lincoln. She was once among the top most-searched names on the Internet and has been labeled by some media outlets as “cause célèbre” for the widespread interest in her legal troubles.
