A single-engine plane crashed in Florida on Saturday killing one person and injuring two.
According to CNN, the plane was leaving Chicago and was on it's way to St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport when it crashed in Clearwater.
The crash is currently under investigation as the cause is still under question. The plane reportedly nosedived into a neighborhood very early Saturday morning.
Jeffrey Bronken, 53, was flying his daughter and her friend, both 15-years-old, to Florida for their spring break when the plane crashed. Bronken was killed, his daughter and her friend survived but suffered serious injuries.
Bronken and his daughter had flown to Florida for spring breaks in previous years as well.
The NY Daily News reports that no one on the ground at the time of the crash was injured.
Bronken has been described as a "great father" and family man "adored his children." His wife has been reported to be heading to Florida to be with her daughter, who remains hospitalized at this time.
