Federal officials in Staten Island seized 240 pounds of cocaine that was found on a cargo barge in a shipment of Mexican beer on its way to Canada.

According to The NY Post, officers from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the New York Border Enforcement Task Force found 100 bricks of cocaine hidden within the shipment of beer, during an inspection of the boat on Mariner’s Harbor in Staten Island.

Federals say that when they went to check the suspicious looking bags, bricks of white powder began to pour out.

“This is a significant seizure,” Robert E. Perez, director of New York Field Operations, said in a statement.

The cocaine had an estimated value of $5 million.

The stash was found on Jan. 5, but it was only announced to the public on Thursday, reports CBS New York.
“This intercept prevents a large quantity of drugs from getting to the streets and in the hands of our children,” said Perez.

Feds have not yet found who the drugs came from, but the investigation is still ongoing.
