A father says he slept while his teenage daughter threw a wild party that sent five, including his daughter, to the hospital.
According to WFTV, authorities responded to the Winter Park, Fla. home late Friday night, where more than 100 teenagers were partying. Many of them began fleeing the house when officers arrived.
The Daily Mail reported that five teens between the ages of 15 and 17 were sent to the hospital and two of the teens were listed in critical condition, but are now recovering. Deputies said that the teens were mixing alcohol with the anti-anxiety drug Xanax.
Steve Miller, who owns the home where the bash took place, claimed that he had no idea that there would be drugs and booze at the party and that he slept through the entire thing.
“If my daughter told me they were going to have alcohol I wouldn’t have permitted it,” he said. “I didn’t see any drugs.”
At this point no charges have been filed.
