Twentieth Century Fox is on a mission to take on Marvel/Disney and has announced several release dates for upcoming films to try to attempt to get a larger share of the comic book feature film industry.
The next Wolverine release has been scheduled for March 3, 2017, while the second film in the Fantastic Four series reboot is set to be released on July 14, 2017. No word yet on production beginning for the first Fantastic Four installment.
Entertainment Weekly reported that the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot will be starring Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell and Miles Teller, which will arrive in theaters on June 19, 2015.
Fox also announced one very large mystery project with Marvel that will be released on July 13, 2018, Variety reported.
The first major comic book feature that will be coming from Fox is X-Men: Days of Future Past, which has incredible star power including Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender and Halle Berry.
