Frozen has returned to it's familiar No. 1 Billboard 200, selling 99,000 copies. Frozen has soared to the top spot of the charts due to recent Oscar popularity after the film won best animated feature and Idina Menzel making headlines with her performance of "Let It Go" during the live awards.
This is the sixth nonconsecutive week atop the chart for Frozen. It first topped the charts back in the middle of January.
Last week the soundtrack sold 100,000 copies and ended up in the No. 3 spot, Billboard reported.
Its total sales stand at 1.4 million to date; the soundtrack was released back in November.
Coming in second on the charts was the latest EP from country superstar Luke Bryan. Bryan released a spring break EP Spring Break 6 … Like We Ain't Ever, which sold around 74,000 copies in its first week out.
Frozen is not going to slow down when it comes to breaking records. The animated feature has already broken DVD sales records before the film has even been released on Amazon, The Wall Street Journal reported.
