Singer and actress Idina Menzel is taking a moment to appreciate her success from the Disney movie, Frozen.

Menzel said, "I've had ups and downs ... and I'm aware of when something's happening and has an energy of its own. I'm aware enough to know of something special and to try and be in the moment," according to the Associated Press.

Menzel lent her voice to the film as the character, Elsa. Frozen is the story of Anna who attempts to find her sister, Elsa in a chilly, Everest-like world. The Disney film was directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee. It won the Oscar for best animated feature. At the 86th Annual Academy Awards, Menzel sang the hit song, “Let It Go,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The album, Frozen, is enjoying platinum success. Frozen astonishingly beat the record set by the soundtrack for Titanic. In addition to her work in feature films and on Broadway, Menzel has released several solo albums including I Stand, Here, and Still I Can’t Be Still. The singer was an Honorary Chair of the Imperial Court of New York's Annual Charity Coronation Ball.
