George Michael released his first album in over seven years. The album was recorded while he was performing on his Symphonica tour in Europe.
Songs on the album include “John and Elvis Are Dead” and the old standard, “Wild Is the Wind.” He also takes on covering some classic songs including, “My Baby Just Cares for Me” and “Brother Can You Spare a Dime,” according to the Associated Press.
The album was produced by the late Phil Ramone who previously worked with the singer on Songs From the Last Century in 1999. George Michael could be wooing old and new fans on the recent album. Some bigger stars are saying how they feel about the album. Kate Moss wrote a review of the album for Vogue. She has plenty of good things to say about the album. She talks about favorite songs, including “You’ve Changed.” According to the Daily Mail, she writes, “It almost makes me cry. For me, it’s the vulnerability, openness and richness of his voice that does it.”
Symphonica is released by Islands Records.
