Lea Michelle has released her new song which channels her feelings about her deceased husband, Corey Monteith.
Michelle has said that the song “If You Say So” is about Monteith’s death. It is also the only song that Monteith did not get to hear before his death.
As reported earlier by People, Michelle said that grief is a scary thing and it can really just bring you down. As her first album is set to release, she said that this is a new beginning for her and she will “fly.”
As earlier reported by CNN, the song sets the tone as seven days after the death of her boyfriend.
"It's been seven whole days/ Without your embrace/ I wanna see your face/ I've got some things to say/ It was just a week ago/ You said, 'I love you, girl'/ I said, 'I love you more' ... He said, 'If you say so.”
Michelle said that her new song “If You Say So” is very personal and is an intense song where she had a chance to express herself.
Michelle’s album is going to be released on March 4.
