Gregg Allman and the Allam Brothers Band have been performing their annual shows at the Beacon Theater but Allman has had to miss a number of shows due to bronchitis.
Representatives close to Allman explain that they hope he will be able to return to the stage in just a few days, Billboard reported
The singer was forced to not perform for both the Friday and Saturday shows at the Beacon Theater. The group has four final shows in the upcoming week and Allman is expected to return for those shows after being under doctors care and resting.
The Allman Brothers will be celebrating its 45 anniversary as a group in 2014 and are concluding their annual Beacon run on March 29th. The shows kicked off back at the start of March.
This will be the last chance for fans to see the full group together. It was announced earlier that both Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks would be leaving the band at the end of this year, The New York Times added.
